Week 43 Review: How to Be Popular

From Goodreads:
Do you want to be popular?

Everyone wants to be popular—or at least, Stephanie Landry does. Steph's been the least popular girl in her class since a certain cherry Super Big Gulp catastrophe five years earlier.
Does being popular matter?

It matters a lot—to Steph. That's why this year, she has a plan to get in with the It Crowd in no time flat. She's got a secret weapon: an old book called—what else?—How to Be Popular.

All Steph has to do is follow the instructions in The Book, and soon she'll be partying with the popular kids (including school quarterback Mark Finley) instead of sitting on The Hill Saturday nights, stargazing with her nerdy best pal Becca, and even nerdier Jason (now kind of hot, but still).

But don't forget the most important thing about popularity!

It's easy to become popular. What isn't so easy? Staying that way.

My Review:
I kinda feel like I've read this book before. I know I've read the first chapter before, it was very familiar, but I don't really remember the first bit. Maybe I just only read the first chapter. Anyway. Great book! Loved how some kinda old fashioned rules of popularity could actually work, especially since they are pretty much the opposite of the kids I see in school who are popular. They're mostly indifferent, and they look pretty or handsome (I guess. I don't really find anybody beautiful, just normal, or like me) and they have expensive or looking-good clothing. Yep.

Anyways. Loved her business brain, and how she was nice to people and how her friends are, and how that all works. It was very funny to have to trying to help them when they were focused on something.

Very, very good ending, where pretty much everybody is happy but the mean people, because they wanted her to do something pretty bad so they could have a party. But she's stronger then that, and they don't like her anymore. But the good ones get out a bit.

This was just a impressive book by the ever impressive Meg Cabot, so GO READ IT NOW!
