Third Sentence Thursday #26, February 2nd

Third Sentence Thursday is a weekly meme which likes to watch fireworks especially while eating a cookie!
1) Take the book you are currently reading, and share the third sentence in the first chapter (NOT the preface, preamble, introduction, etc. – Chapter 1). Feel free to share more (maybe the first three, the second through fourth, or the third plus the two following) if you’d prefer.
2) Review this sentence anyway you want (funny and silly reviews encouraged)
3) Post a link to your sentence at Proud Book Nerd, host of this wonderful meme!
4) Visit one or two of the other blogs to check out their third sentences!

*I'm doing my 2nd to 4th sentence of chapter 1*

"They think I've lost it. at least my loyal dormies keep reminding everyone about my fever. who knows how long I was wandering in that snowstorm?" -The Screaming Season by Nancy Holder

Sounds very weird. I know what they think she's lost since that's the first sentence, but I wonder what it sounds like, if you haven't read the first 2 books? What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. Horrible, I can't imagine "wandering in a snowstorm" because of being lost or confused. I hope she makes it to a safe place.

  2. Interesting. I definitely wonder what's going on. I'm not familiar with these books at all.
