Week 26 Review: The Golden Lily

From Goodreads:
Tough, brainy alchemist Sydney Sage and doe-eyed Moroi princess Jill Dragomir are in hiding at a human boarding school in the sunny, glamorous world of Palm Springs, California. The students--children of the wealthy and powerful--carry on with their lives in blissful ignorance, while Sydney, Jill, Eddie, and Adrian must do everything in their power to keep their secret safe. But with forbidden romances, unexpected spirit bonds, and the threat of Strigoi moving ever closer, hiding the truth is harder than anyone thought.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Richelle Mead's breathtaking Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive. In this second book, the drama is hotter, the romances are steamier, and the stakes are even higher.

My Review:
I loved this book so much! Getting to know the gang some more, and relationships develop, evolve, or end, and so much was going on, and yeah, it was just so enticing! I had to read more! And I'm really liking this thing that going on between her and Adrian!

I loved Sydney's short relationship with Brayden, because you'd think since they're similar, they'd get along well together, but they don't! And the whole "organic certification process" whatever that is, and awesome being in the same paragraph, Sydney and Brayden fit pretty darn well together! Except there just wasn't that spark, so how they ended, well, it was a bit funny, that he thought she wasn't someone to rely on. So hilarious!

The whole plot line, with Trey, and how it turns out that he's part of a group that splintered off of the Alchemists, humans that know about the Moroi, Dhamphirs, and Strogri, and are actively hunting them, killing them. Yeah. And then Sydney gets tangled up in there!

The whole driving thing? With Adrian buying the car, and then Sydney teaching him how to drive because she has a thing for cars-and then it turns out that he could actually drive all along, and just pretended not to know, just so spend time with her? Just so freaking sweet!

Loved this book so much, and yeah, I can't wait for more!
