Week 36 Review: The Kill Order

From Goodreads:
Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, sun flares hit the earth and mankind fell to disease.

Mark and Trina were there when it happened, and they survived. But surviving the sun flares was easy compared to what came next. Now a disease of rage and lunacy races across the eastern United States, and there’s something suspicious about its origin. Worse yet, it’s mutating, and all evidence suggests that it will bring humanity to its knees.

Mark and Trina are convinced there’s a way to save those left living from descending into madness. And they’re determined to find it—if they can stay alive. Because in this new, devastated world, every life has a price. And to some, you’re worth more dead than alive.

My Review:
This was a really great book! We get to see the beginning how the world ended up like it did in The Maze Runner. Which really, is depressing, because it's a downhill slide, we know it's going to get worse, and yeah, that kinda sucks.

We get to go through all the trials that humanity did, and they were not pleasant, as the world started to end. Not all the way, but it definitely started in this book, with everything that was going on, the sun flares and all that they caused!

But then it's, like, ARGH, that people caused the Flare, because hey, they think that their lives are better then others, and so they're making strides to get rid of those that they don't want. Which is just awful, after going through the sun flares!

It's also sad, because that child that they worked so hard to save, even while they were dying, is going to end up going through the events of the Maze Runner, and through all of that. And it's like, what's the point? Maybe we should let humanity die out. But maybe not, maybe there's hope!

This was a really great book, I enjoyed it a lot, it just brought up a lot of emotions in me!
