Week 46 Review: Breaking Dawn

From Goodreads:
WHEN YOU LOVED THE ONE WHO WAS KILLING YOU, IT LEFT YOU NO OPTIONS. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to a werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.

Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this again! I wish that I'd reread the other books in the series, just so I would have actual reviews of them here on my blog, but oh, well, I had to reread this one in preparation to see the movie versions of this book, the first for the second time, and the second time, just releasing, yeah!

It's kinda hard to separate in my head, what happened in the book, and what happened in the first movie. Sure, the book doesn't have the totally sticking power, since it's only black and white visual, while the movie was colour visual and auditory. But there were differences there!

So Bella's been on this roller coaster, and she hasn't quite gotten off, from a wedding, to a baby, to becoming a vampire in the process so she wouldn't die die. And then the threat that her child faces. That was pretty stressful!

I just have to say, the name that she came up with, a merging of her mom's name Renee, and Esme's name, well, it's kinda cute, and it's pretty silly. And if it wasn't a book, then it would've been a horrible name to name a child. But anyway.

I'm glad that after 4 books, Bella and Edward finally get their happy ending, and I can't wait to see them do so on the big screen!
