Week 46 Review: The Iron Legends

From Goodreads:
Enter the world of the internationally bestselling Iron Fey series. Dangerous faeries. Heartbreaking romance. Thrilling action and limitless adventure. The world of the fey has never been so powerful. This collection includes three novellas set in the world of the Iron Fey plus the Guide to the Iron Fey with exclusive information about Julie Kagawa's unforgettable world of Faery.

Winter's Passage
Never make a promise to a faery. They always come to collect. Now Meghan Chase must fulfill her promise to Prince Ash of the Winter Court and embark upon a dangerous journey into the heart of enemy territory—while being pursued by a relentless new foe and guarding her own foolish heart.

Summer's Crossing
What can turn enemies into reluctant allies? A call from the Exile Queen, Leanansidhe, ties legendary prankster Puck to his archenemy, Prince Ash, on a journey that may end in betrayal and will set them both on an irreversible path.

Iron's Prophecy
Before she ever knew what she might become, Iron Queen Meghan Chase was warned by the oracle that her firstborn child would bring nothing but grief. And even as Meghan and Ash celebrate their long-awaited union, the prophecy stirs.

My Review:
Oh, this was a really great, fantastic book! Though really, I only read Iron's Prophecy, because I read the others while I was reading the series proper. They are a part of this book, though! Which is great, that all of these main characters each has a short story here!

So that there was a prophecy around Meghan, and her future, well, not good at all! Because even if it's a good prophecy, the expectations would have to be staggering after a while! And for them, the prophecy is negative, so yeah, that's kinda worse!

But the exact one that is on their child? I don't think any parent should deal with anything that was like that prophecy or near it! Because man, that was a doozy! Is it not wonder that they reacted the way that they did? Though that her payment that she wanted was their child, was awful too!

Now that they've done that, I wonder, how it's all going to play out, what bad thing Keirran is going to do? His love that he has, for that lady, well, it's not going to end well, but is that what's going to lead him to fulling this prophecy?

Such a great collection of the short stories in this world, and now I can't wait for The Iron Traitor!
