Week 15 Review: Shut Out

From Goodreads:
Most high school sports teams have rivalries with other schools. At Hamilton High, it's a civil war: the football team versus the soccer team. And for her part, Lissa is sick of it. Her quarterback boyfriend, Randy, is always ditching her to go pick a fight with the soccer team or to prank their locker room. And on three separate occasions Randy's car has been egged while he and Lissa were inside, making out. She is done competing with a bunch of sweaty boys for her own boyfriend's attention.

Then Lissa decides to end the rivalry once and for all: She and the other players' girlfriends go on a hookup strike. The boys won't get any action from them until the football and soccer teams make peace. What they don't count on is a new sort of rivalry: an impossible girls-against-boys showdown that hinges on who will cave to their libidos first. But what Lissa never sees coming is her own sexual tension with the leader of the boys, Cash Sterling...

My first review of Shut Out
My Review:
I enjoyed reading this book again! It was so fantastic again, having the rivalry between the football team and the soccer team-at the same school-and then the competition between the girls and boys, it was really awesome and funny!

OK, first I have to say, the reason why I read it exactly 4 months after reading it the first time. And for that, I have a simple explanation. I was watching the music video for Pom Poms by Jonas Brothers, and I was reminded of this book, so I just had to read it!

Lissa has good reason to have that strike, between dates with her boyfriend being interrupted by the feud, and then her boyfriend blowing her off for the feud. So yeah, having it, for the whole purpose to end the feud, well, that's a pretty great reason!

Just loved how much both sides fought, urged on by their leaders, Lissa and Cash, who were fighting their own attraction! It was just so hilarious, and when they finally called a truce, well, yeah, that was a really great ending!

I just enjoyed this book so much! It's so freaking good! Kody Keplinger is an awesome author!
