Week 23 Review: Kiss of the Night

From Goodreads:
Wulf is an ancient Viking warrior with a useful but extremely aggravating power—amnesia. No one who meets him in person can remember him 5 minutes later. It makes it easy to have one-night stands, but hard to have a meaningful relationship, and without true love he can never regain his soul.

When he finally meets Cassandra, the one woman who can remember him, she turns out to be the princess of the cursed race he's sworn to hunt—and forbidden to him. The two of them must face ancient curses, prophecies, and the direct meddling of the Greek gods to find true happiness at last.

My Review:
Such a fantastic book! I loved reading it so much! Like it's the first book that Kat's in, we get to met 11000 year old creatures, for the first time knowingly, well, if you've only read up to here before. So yeah, got a lot going on!

I could feel sorry for Wulf, what with his power, that only those that are related to him, can remember him. Well, and Cassandra, as he finds out. I loved that one mention, that one time, his current squire-a decendant of his brother-'s mom, called the cops on Wulf being in the house, because she'd forgotten him. Oh, and the fact that he owned the house.

And then how he protects said squire, and wants to make sure he has kids, and yeah, just how darned protective he is of him, that was just really great! Really counters when Strkyier kills his son for keeping secret his wife, who was also Cassandra's sister, so thus, the enemy, from him. Yeah.

We got to find more about this world, about the Damions, and how they work, and Apolloites, seeing as Cassandra is kinda connected to them, and that she could be made into a Damion, since her sister, Phoebe, was!

Such a fantastic book, I enjoyed it so much, it was just really great, and I can't wait for more!

  1. This wasn't one of my favorites.
But it was funny and ridiculous at some parts.
