Week 25 Reviews: Project Princess, Princess in Pink

From Goodreads:
What on earth is that princess up to now?

Hammer in hand, Princess Mia embarks on an epic adventure for one so admittedly unhandy: Along with her cohorts from school, she's off to build houses for the less fortunate. It doesn't take Mia long to realize that helping others -- while an unimpeachably noble pastime -- is very hard work. Will her giving spirit prevail? Will the house collapse due to royally clumsy construction? And most importantly, will Michael stop working long enough to kiss her?

From Goodreads:
In her heart of hearts, Mia has but one wish: an evening spent with Michael in a tux and a corsage on her wrist--in other words, the prom. Michael, however, does not seem to share the dream that is the prom. Worse still, a service workers' strike (with Grandmere and Lilly at the heart of it and on opposite sides) threatens the very existence of this year's prom.

Will the strike end in time? Can Mia talk Michael out of his anti-prom views? Most importantly, will Mia get to wear her pink prom dress?

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book and novella! I just loved reading more adventures about Mia, and her friends, and Michael! Can't forget him, seeing as he's the love of Mia's life, and I know where they're going, and I can't wait to get there!

So it's really funny, that this thing all started because of a dog. Because Grandmere bought Rommel to Mia's birthday party, and caused a waiter to fall and get fired. And because of that, start a city-wide strike. That affects prom. Which Mia really wants to go. But Michael doesn't.

Yeah, so Mia had to convince Michael that she really wanted to go, and in the end, came up with something really clever, using Michael's band at the prom, so that they could be there! Which means that yeah, their experience would be different, but oh, well. Mia also arranges as to where the prom is, since the original location was unsuitable because of the strike!

Rocky is born! Which is just so freaking cute! And just the story of it all, of all this yelling, and Grandmere being there, and people in the taxi, was just hilarious! And that Grandmere had a bond with him, even though he's not related to her by blood. That was just really sweet!

This was a really great book and novella, and Princess in Pink marks the halfway point of the series! Now to reread more!
