Sixteen is the magic number
Mia doesn't always have the best luck with parties, so even though it's her sweet sixteenth, she doesn't want a birthday bash. As usual, Grandmere has other ideas, and thinks a reality TV special is just the thing in order to celebrate royally. The whole scheme smacks of Lilly's doing -- Lilly, whose own TV show is still only limited to local cable viewers.
Will Mia be able to stop Grandmere's plan? Will her friends ever forgive her if she does stop it, since it involves all of them taking the royal jet to Genovia for an extravaganza the likes of which would turn even Paris Hilton green with envy? Why can't Mia get what she really wants: an evening alone with Michael?

My Review:
Ah, I've read this series before, but just reading this ending again, yeah, that was fantastic! So Mia grows a lot over these books, because mainly, of Princess on the Brink, when Michael leaves for Japan. Princess Mia adds to that, and then Forever Princess finishes it off!
We know that Mia's birthday parties tend to end up with a fuss-remember the worker's strike? So I can understand Mia wanting some alone time with Michael! And then her worries about him being a college student, and her being a high school student.
The whole diary that Mia finds, that declares that Genovia is like how I'm pretty sure England is now, having the monarchy family, but then having elected officials running the country. So first she announces that, and then the fall out, her dad is running for that position, and he's losing. But he wins in the end!
And then there was the whole thing between Michael and J.P.. I knew what was going to happen, from the movie, and all that, but it was just fun to read about Mia stressing out about that, and then getting her happy ending!
This is such a great series, and I really enjoyed rereading it, from beginning to end!
