My Review:
I just loved rereading the both of these! I just enjoyed very single story, because they were just so freaking good! Having Fury's book, getting in the Belador world for the first story, and then The Story of a Son, well, I wouldn't mind a series there!
Of the short stories, I remember all of them but Beyond the Night, and that's just because while it was a really good short story, it didn't capture my imagination as the other 3. Which is too bad, it was really good, but I liked the others more!
The One Silent Night, of Stryker's story, yeah, there was a lot going on there, and while he's a villain, it's not his fault that the bad things are happening this time, which was really great! And that he worked with Acheron to face the bad guy!
And a pretty big development happened-they figured out how to circumvent the dying in the sun, which is really good for them, but not so good for the Dark-Hunters. If it made it so they wouldn't have to feed ever, ever, ever again, and the source didn't run out-seeing as it's another species, but one that we don't like, the bad guys from Devil May Cry-then it would be perfect, the Dark-Hunters wouldn't have to hunt them anymore!
Such great books, I enjoyed reading all of them, and now to keep rereading the Dark Hunter world books!

These are probably two of my not so favorite books;
ReplyDeleteKenyon likes writing about forgiveness and about seeing thins from different POV's (there are always two side to a story).
I like Fury , he's funny. But some of the scenes with Angelia were awkward for me. Plus I hate Stryker and didn't wanna know his story; he's the bad guy.
Oh, that's too bad, I liked Fury, and I felt bad for Angelia, and the dinner with Bride and her family that she created, that was funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd since this book, as far as I can remember, he hasn't really done any bad things, so I think he's getting better, he definitely deserves his grudge against his dad, and after Styxx, he gets to put it to use!
