Week 33 Review: Hover

From Goodreads:
On Earth, seventeen-year-old Ari Alexander was taught to never peek, but if she hopes to survive life on her new planet, Loge, her eyes must never shut. Because in this world, pleasure is everything, held up by a ruling body that keeps their people in check by giving them what they want and closing their eyes to what's really happening around them. The only hope Loge has is to move its people to Earth, and they have a plan.

Thousands of humans crossed over to Loge after a poisonous neurotoxin released into Earth's atmosphere, nearly killing them. They sought refuge in hopes of finding a new life, but what they became were slaves, built to wage war against their home planet. That is, unless Ari and Jackson can stop them. But on Loge, nothing is as it seems…and no one can be trusted.

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book, and a really great sequel! I enjoyed reading this so much! We got to be in this world again, which is always a plus! And these characters were pretty great, though different from the first one because of the events of the first one.

So we really go to understand Loge, and how it works, and why they made contact, and it's  not a good thing for us humans! But the "look away" philosophy that most of the residents took on is very annoying, because it's letting the leaders get away with some pretty horrible things!

Like Zeus, like, the head guy-who, as it turns out, is Jackson's grandfather, but hey, you can't pick your biological families, the one you are born to, and the one you might make-who comes up with these horrible ideas, and has the power to implement them.

Oh, that ending was just so much harder to read then the ending of Gravity, because the stakes are higher, and yeah, while leaving your planet is bad, what they were leaving this time, and what they came back to, is even worse! I want more!

Such a great book, really awesome, and I really can't wait for the 3rd and final book in this wonderful series!
