Week 34 Review: Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend

From Goodreads:
Rose Zarelli has big plans for sophomore year—everything is going to be different. This year, she's going to be the talented singer with the killer voice, the fabulous girl with the fashionista best friend, the brainiac who refuses to let Jamie Forta jerk her around...

...but if she's not careful, she's also going to be the sister who misses the signals, the daughter who can only think about her own pain, the "good girl" who finds herself in mid-scandal again (because no good deed goes unpunished) and possibly worst of all...the almost-girlfriend.

When all else fails, stop looking for love and go find yourself.

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book! I enjoyed it a lot, it was a great sequel, and now I just want the 3rd book, and hopefully the 4th, since it seems each book is about a year, this one was from summer, to spring, so four books would bring us to her senior year!

It was really awesome to read this book, with Rose, who's grown up a bit from the last book, and most likely, will after this book, too! Because time is passing, and she's experiencing new things, and yeah, that was really great!

There were a few things going on in this book. Like some continuation of the bullying of the previous book. And her brother, and his issues. Because he's keeping a secret, and Rose is a bit curious, but she doesn't really dig to find out what's going on with him. And a few other things!

We got to learn a bit more about Jamie, which was really great! But between all the issues and everything going on, well, she's the almost-girlfriend, not the girlfriend. But she uses that to get stronger in the end, with the band, and moving on and being single!

This was a really fantastic book, and now I just want more!
