Week 41 Review: Silencing Eve

From Goodreads:
Is she dead or alive? That is the question on everybody’s lips. Eve appears to have been killed -- that’s what everyone attending her funeral thinks, at least. But not even some of her top-brass colleagues know for sure whether her death is a hoax -- a way to ensnare her brutal captor, Jim Doane, once or for all. But even if Eve really is still alive, how much longer can this charade continue before she falls into even greater danger? CIA agent Catherine Ling will waste no time trying to find out. Years ago, Eve risked everything to help Catherine find her missing son. Now Catherine, along with Eve’s beloved Joe Quinn and Jane MacGuire, will go to the ends of the earth to save her…

My Review:
I enjoyed this book, though it was still a bit hard to read, seeing as we knew that not everyone was going to survive, and wondering who wouldn't, that was hard. Once it was over, it was OK, but till then, it was pins and needles!

After the cliffhanger ending of the last book, this book just brought pretty much everybody in-everyone from the last 2 books, and now Catherine Ling is added into the mix, and yeah, that adds some interesting dynamics!

So the mystery moved from the situation around Doane, and expanded from his son-to the mother of the evil child that pretty much started this off, once Eve's dad killed him. And yeah, that lead to the bombs. Not nice!

I thought that since we were warned that not all will survive, that we were going to lose at least 2 or 3 characters that have been while us for at least 2 books. But we only lose one. And that's hard for Jane, seeing as she'd finally picked up. But she's still alive, so there's that1

This was a really fantastic book, I enjoyed it so much, and I can't wait for more Eve and Jane and Catherine and Kendra books!
