Week 42 Reviews: Forgotten Lyrics, Elegy

From Goodreads:
Aggie is a mythological creature on a secret mission.  Lydia is a young woman from a magical family with no real powers of her own. And Daniel is a high school boy who’s made it his duty to protect his deeply troubled older brother.  Then one fateful night, their lives collide in a terrifying accident that changes them all forever. And beneath the surface, the ripple effects of the accident will have more impact than anyone could ever guess...changing not only their future, but the fate of an entire town.

From Goodreads:
Now that Gemma holds the key to breaking the siren curse, the stakes have never been higher. At last, a future with those she loves—and a romance with Alex—is close enough to touch...but not if Penn has anything to say about it. Penn is more determined than ever to have Daniel for her own and to destroy Gemma and Harper along the way, and Penn always gets what she wants. Now a final explosive battle is about to begin, and the winner will take everything Gemma holds dear.

My Review:
I enjoyed reading both of these a lot! Forgotten Lyrics took us to Daniel's back story, we get to meet Aggie, as she's dead in Wake, and what starts all the problems, and then Lydia, who is in the series, so yeah, it was nice to read about them. And then Elegy finishes off the series!

So yeah, I've now read the whole series. And it was really great to have everything come together, even though it's been forever since I read the first 3 books. I just enjoyed being with these characters for the first last time, because from now on, I'll have read all the material of this series.

So Elegy is what the series has been heading towards. And it was just such a great book! I loved how everything came together, how everything was resolved, it was really quite good, and I enjoyed it! Like finding out about the Siren's father.

I'm really glad that this series was 4 books long, if it'd been shorter, we would've been in this world less, and yeah, that just would've been a shame, because this was a really great world! I enjoyed reading about it a lot! And I think I heard that it might be in the same one as her Trylle series!

I enjoyed both of these so much, and I can't wait for the Kanin series!
