Week 47 Review: The Rules for Disappearing

From Goodreads:
She’s been six different people in six different places: Madeline in Ohio, Isabelle in Missouri, Olivia in Kentucky . . . But now that she’s been transplanted to rural Louisiana, she has decided that this fake identity will be her last.

Witness Protection has taken nearly everything from her. But for now, they’ve given her a new name, Megan Rose Jones, and a horrible hair color. For the past eight months, Meg has begged her father to answer one question: What on earth did he do – or see – that landed them in this god-awful mess? Meg has just about had it with all the Suits’ rules — and her dad’s silence. If he won’t help, it’s time she got some answers for herself.

But Meg isn't counting on Ethan Landry, an adorable Louisiana farm boy who’s too smart for his own good. He knows Meg is hiding something big. And it just might get both of them killed. As they embark on a perilous journey to free her family once and for all, Meg discovers that there’s only one rule that really matters — survival.

My Review:
This book, was like, non-stop something happening! And it was just so good! I really enjoyed Meg, and as we found out why she and her family have left their home, and are living like they are, and all the various names that they've taken on and such, and the rules. It was so interesting!

I think the part I loved most about this book, was the slow reveal of why the family is the in the witness protection program-because Meg witnessed a crime, a crime that those who committed it wouldn't want to go to jail for it. And the whole situation surrounding that was just intriguing!

Meg and Ethan had a pretty awesome relationship! I mean, she knows she should push him away, and she tries, but he's more persistent then her, and wins in that aspect, and a cynic would also say that's where he lost, because then he was sucked into the drama. But anyways!

I'm so glad that this is a series, especially with how it ended, but that we also get to spend more time with these characters, because I enjoyed them a lot! They had easy lives, some of them, simple lives, others, and then there's Meg, who's on the run, and then, not. And I want to see more after!

I enjoyed this book a lot, and I can't wait for the next book!
