Tim Macbeth, a seventeen-year-old albino and a recent transfer to the prestigious Irving School, where the motto is "Enter here to be and find a friend." A friend is the last thing Tim expects or wants—he just hopes to get through his senior year unnoticed. Yet, despite his efforts to blend into the background, he finds himself falling for the quintessential "It" girl, Vanessa Sheller, girlfriend of Irving's most popular boy. To Tim's surprise, Vanessa is into him, too, but she can kiss her social status goodbye if anyone ever finds out. Tim and Vanessa begin a clandestine romance, but looming over them is the Tragedy Paper, Irving's version of a senior year thesis, assigned by the school's least forgiving teacher.

My Review:
I really enjoyed this book! The biggest reason being, how it was told. We get alternating POV's of Tim, and Duncan, and Duncan's are of him uncovering Tim and Vanessa's story, because of Duncan, it's already happened, and then we go back and forth from it it unravelling, to happened and done. And that was just great!
Tim, as a character, was someone you could identify with-the loner, the one that has either trouble, or a lack of want, to fit in with the other kids in school, and for Tim, it's something that's hard to change-he's an albino. He has a brilliant mind, and yeah, then there's his thing with Vanessa!
I didn't like Vanessa too much, because as someone who was a wallflower, a watcher on the sidelines, so see someone to go to those lengths to keep her popularity, it's like, why is that so important to you? It was kinda worthless, and Tim didn't deserve that.
And yet, as the book goes on, we find out that the story isn't as done as was previously thought, because Duncan has some effect on their relationship. And yeah, not the best of ends for some people, but it ended pretty much where it seemed to be heading, and that was good!
Yeah, this was a bit of a sad book, but it was just so entertaining!
