My first review of Adaptation
My Review:
This was such a fantastic series! I'd read the first book last year, but I've read a lot of books since then, which is why I reread it. And I'm so glad I did! Lots of the little details, I didn't remember, so yeah, it was just great to read everything in one sweep, because it was just that awesome!
From the mystery of why the birds did what they did, to what happened to Reece and David after the accident, and what changes happened, and then the whole Amber thing, and the secrets that Amber kept till she couldn't anymore, that was Adaptation.
And then Natural Selection was awesome, going between the past and a point just before Adaptation, the past on Earth on a camping trip with her school, the future on the Imria's home planet, and the naming ceremony-where she picks the name Amber. And yeah, it was nice to get that taste of Imria's culture-like they have 1 mom, and 2 dads!
And then Inheritance-dealing with the fallout, and then trying to build a new world, which I think they did quite well at, changing things, moving them in a direction to move past all the lies and betrayals, and coexist and work together! And then the relationship between Reece, Amber, and Daniel!
Yeah, loved this series so much, and I can't wait to read what she writes next!
