Week 18 Review: Whispered Lies

From Goodreads:
Gabrielle Saxe has hidden from a killer for the past decade, sending anonymous tips on international criminals to intelligence agencies around the world. When a postcard arrives from a friend who is supposed to be dead, she takes a risk that catapults her into the midst of dangerous operatives on a treacherous mission—and into the arms of Bureau of American Defense operative Carlos Delgado. Dutybound to surrender her to Interpol as an international felon, Carlos is the last person Gabrielle should trust and the only one standing between her and death. But little does she know, she holds the key to his survival as well. . .

My Review:
Love, love, loved this book! Wonderful characters, world travel, and mysteries, not all got solved, and yeah, just freaking amazing!!! From Georgia, with the small time people, to France and maybe some bad guys, but facing the past, to Italy, an attempted assassination, and then a threat, to South America and Washington, for the final show downs.

Some development into the Fratelli, and how the events of the last book, were merely a test run, that they would do a more through test in this one, this time with the deaths of important people in government, well, yeah, and that they had to learn that, and what the bad guys did to ensure that their plan went through? Not good, maiming innocent children, and planning on using them like unknowing suicide bombers.

Carlos and Gabrielle were amazing. I loved them, together, and apart, because they both had their strengths and weaknesses, and they are unknowingly connected by the past, the death of her mother, and his family, and then how that was mixed in, to be pretty important to dealing with what is going on now, well, that was just fantastic!!

Great mystery in this book, from where Gabrielle's friend was, and how she could get intel on the Fratelli, to the creepness at her school, and the teens that may or may not be missing, and connecting all the pieces together, that was just a great ride!!!

I loved this book, and I can't wait to reread Silent Truth, because I want to know if B.A.D. takes down the Fratelli for good!!!
