Week 19 Review: The Hunt

From Goodreads:
Ariane Tucker has finally escaped GTX, the research facility that created her. While on the run, Zane Bradshaw is the only person she can trust. He knows who-and what-she is and still wants to be part of her life.

But accepting Zane's help means putting him in danger.

Dr. Jacobs, head of GTX, is not the only one hunting for Ariane. Two rival corporations have their sights set on taking down their competition. Permanently. To protect Zane and herself, Ariane needs allies. She needs the other hybrids. The hybrids who are way more alien and a lot less human. Can Ariane win them over before they turn on her? Or will she be forced to choose sides, to decide who lives and who dies?

My Review:
Oh, I loved, loved, loved this book! Just as great as The Rules, full of some of the same great characters, and new characters, too, which was pretty awesome!

I love the cover, not just for it's prettiness, but the for the fact that Ariane looked like Ford, one of the 3 surviving hybrids that Laughlin made, and how the girls on the cover look pretty darn similar! So yeah, that was pretty great!

One of my favourite parts was near the beginning, where they face both of their worst fears in a few pages, him was the worry that he was slowing her down, that she didn't want him with her. Then hers was that he'd be better off without her. Another, was their sex and elbows conversation, because it was just as hilarious as the name suggests, and that she teased him about his comment on hybrid bodies. So sweet!

Then with the whole blind sided thing with Zane's mom, being Mara, the nicest of everyone at GTX to Ariane. That part of the reason why his mom stayed away was because she started unknowingly to work for the only other corporation that we knew of that actually had a hybrid of human and alien DNA, Laughlin, and she was protecting him by staying away. Yeah. Not too good, for him to find out that!

Currently, there's only 2 books up on Goodreads, but I'm really, really, really hoping for a 3rd book, because things are not resolved, because Ariane things that Zane is hurt and most likely dead, and since he's dying, and getting the chance to become a hybrid, by the corporation that we were pretty much told didn't have a hybrid...yeah. I want another book!!! And I read on Stacey Kade's journal about book #3, so yeah, there's a good hope that there's going to be a 3rd book, whoo!!!

Yeah, I loved this book, and I cannot wait for the 3rd book!!! So excited!!!!
