Week 20 Review: The Immortal Rules

My first review of The Immortal Rules
My Review:
Oh, man, what a wonderful book! I really enjoyed it, how Allie and Zeke first meet, how Allie is turned into a vampire, and those early days with Kanin, and how his words were brought back when they were relevant, and yeah, I really can't wait to read The Eternity Cure!!!

Just reading this book made me wonder how Allie gets along with Jackal in the next book, after what he had done to Darren, have the rabid kill him! And how he was mad at her, what with Jed killing himself, and trying to take Jackal with him. Yeah, that wasn't a great parting, so I wonder how that's going to work out!

I loved the mention that Allie "felt a connection" to the small winged mice, bats, which I found a nice wink to traditional vampire lore, where vampires could change into bats. Just a nice little nugget to have in a vampire book!

And that humans instincts to humans, that they were right, but, there's almost always a but. But, that while they are monsters, they can choose what kind of monster they are, like Kanin, who exchanges something for the blood that he's taking, and Allie, thinking of doing something similar. Yeah.

Man, did I absolutely love this book, can't wait to reread The Eternity Cure, then read The Forever Song!!!
