Week 25 Review: Pure

He thinks about loss-maybe just because his family is broken; his father is emotionally distant; his brother killed himself; and his mother never made it inside their shelter. Or maybe it's his claustrophobia: his feeling that this Dome has become a swaddling of intensely rigid order. So when a slipped phrase suggests his mother might still be alive, Partridge risks his life to leave the Dome to find her.

My first review of Pure
My Review:
I really enjoyed rereading this book! From Pressia, with the doll burned into her arm, to Partridge, in the Dome, and how they are connected. And yeah, this time, knowing what I know, I didn't want a romantic connection between them, seeing as they're related!

Loved how El Capitan and Helmund went from being pretty must creepy bad guys, to some pretty decent ones, which was really great, and yeah, I really enjoyed all of that! And yeah, they did some pretty bad things at the beginning, but they made up for it in the end!

I loved how slowly Pressia and Partridge came together, and their paths crossed, and they learned about their mom, and yeah, that was pretty cool, and I know it's going to mean some more later on, because it of the descriptions of Fuse!

While this isn't a world that I would like to live in, it is one that could happen, at least some of it, and that's half terrifying, and a quarter cool, and a quarter sad. Because of all the things that is has, in the dome, and all that it doesn't, everywhere else not a dome, yeah.

I really enjoyed rereading this book, and I can't wait to read Fuse! After the ending with the black boxes, and both their mom and Sedge killed by Willix, yeah, want more!
