Teaser Tuesday #172, July 29th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Today's teaser comes from In Close by Brenda Novak, page 19.

    Yeah, and it's a book investigating into the "her's" mother, which might have gotten her husband killed :)
