Stone of Thieves: Review

From Goodreads:
The Stone of Thieves . . . for centuries its magnetic draw has twisted the hearts of ambitious men and women with the promise of power, passion, and intrigue until it fell into the hands of unlikely thieves Robin and her boyfriend Creek. But can they steal their destiny away from the curse that pursues this magnificent ruby heart? As the stone begins to spread its sorcery, Robin races to find her long-lost mother in Italy in the hopes of discovering the truth about her unique gypsy heritage and the ruby heart that is rumored to steal souls. Yet when the desire for this stone by powerful members of her family threatens their very lives, Creek decides to take matters into his own hands to protect Robin, his greatest treasure of all . . .

My Review:
This was such an enjoyable book! Just as entertaining as Robin, witty, sarcastic, and the unlikely humour, with the seriousness, too, when it was warranted, plus it had some pretty intense magic, and some pretty great romance!

So Robin and Creek, their relationship ended on a pretty good note at the end of Robin, and that carried into Stone of Thieves, and then the problems started because of the stone. And yeah, that has some effects on their relationship, building some bonds, because even when they were arguing, it gave them more history to fall back on, to learn more about each other.

This book was darker, from the danger the people who want the Stone, pose, to her grandfather, who yeah, deserved just a bit more then what he got, and yeah, they are in Italy, searching for her Mom, which isn't so easy, and causes quite a few troubles!

The ending! With Grannie Tinker, and her little tidbits of wisdom, combined, really lead to a ending that makes me want the 3rd and final book, because we know something is there, but we don't have all the details yet to start the adventure quite yet! But once the next books starts, we will!

I really enjoyed this book, it was rather good, and it still had the humour of the last book, but yeah, the series is growing!
