Week 47 Review: The Legacy of Eden

My first review of The Legacy of Eden
My Review:
OK, so my first impressions of this book, from my first reading, pretty much still held. Like the whole thing of what people would do for Aurelia. Sure, I'm someone who moved 5 or 6 times before I was 5, and 2 times since then, but still, I can't see how someone could be so devoted to land.

Really enjoyed this family story, of the 3 generations, the grandparents, and siblings, the kids, and then the grand kids. It was creepy, between the scheming and controlling hands of the matriarch Lavinia Hathaway, and how her family played out these plans, knowingly, or not!

Yeah, just the thought that Lavina told her manipulations to Meredith, which just added a lot to the whole family creepiness, that Lavina didn't love Meredith, but she didn't hater her either, which considering how she felt for her other family members, is a good thing? Yeah, not something a grandma supposed to say to a grand child!

The tone of the novel, it's reflective, and pretty sad, considering the history, and yeah, that it ends in just 3 generations, that's a pretty short legacy, in the long run! And yeah, this family really has some bad seeds in it!

Really enjoyed rereading this book, while it's different, and focuses mainly on the 4 main females, it was vastly entertaining! I stayed up till 1 in the morning to read it! And it's song is Style by Taylor Swift!
