My Review:
Ah, this book was fantastic! I mean, I don't know the myth of Psyche and Cupid, but I could match up the main characters, Mya and Ross! And then the various Greek/Roman gods, that was fun to do, though there was one who was there for a while, with a common letter given, so she was not the easiest to guess!
This book was a mysterious, and intricate book! There was the mystery around Ross and his family, because hey, why would Mya know that her story is a contemporary retelling of Psyche and Cupid? So all that was there!
The action was mid-level, like, not an action movie, but not a romantic comedy, either, but the tension came more from the mysteries that are surrounding her, then the action, because that's just the impression I got!
I enjoyed the ending, mostly, because it was a pretty decent spot, but we're left with unanswered questions, some of them pretty big, and yeah, since it's a stand alone book, we're unlikely to get those answers, unless there's a companion book!
Really enjoyed this book, it was just so atmospheric, and amazing!
