Week 26 Reviews: Wicked Games, Reckless Hearts

From Goodreads:
Wicked Games is the first book in a sexy thriller series where passion, lies, and revenge collide-perfect for fans of Simone Elkeles and Sara Shepard.

To all the locals in the small beach town of Dream Point, Carter and Lilah seem like the perfect It Couple-but their relationship is about to brutally unravel before everyone's eyes.

Carter has always been a good guy, and while Lilah has a troubled past, she's been a loyal girlfriend for the last four years. When smart, sexy Jules enters the picture at a senior-year bash, Carter succumbs to temptation. And when Lilah catches wind of his betrayal, she decides that Jules needs to pay.

By the end of the summer, the line between right and wrong will be blurred beyond recognition. Blood will be shed. Nothing in Dream Point will ever be the same.

This juicy summer read will keep readers turning pages until the shocking, nail-biting finale.

From Goodreads:
What do you do if you find yourself fantasizing about kissing your best friend? Sensitive guitarist Jake has been asking himself that same question for a long time, and there's no easy answer. Telling his dream girl –talented anime artist Elena– about his feelings might lead to the ultimate rejection, but not telling her just might kill him.

Before Jake can make his move, though, a new mysterious guy enters the picture in an unexpected way. In Elena's mind, Harlow is excitement-personified: a rebellious yet kindred spirit who she instantly connected with online. Jake's gut is telling him that something about Harlow is off, and that Elena is in way over her head, but the more Jake pushes the issue, the more he pushes Elena right into Harlow's arms –and into a tragedy that neither of them would ever see coming.

My Review:
Yeah, I really enjoyed these books! Not as much as I could, sure, but they were pretty entertaining to read! Wicked Games was a bit harder to get into, because they started off making pretty wrong choices, while Reckless Hearts was much easier!

Yeah, I liked Reckless Hearts better then Wicked Games, because it's not like Elena or Jake did anything to Nathaniel-until he did what he did to them. On the other hand, Carter cheated on Lilah with Jules. Even if she was acting like she was, he should've broken up with her sooner, not cheated on her!

I enjoyed how these books were connected, set in the same town, with Reckless Hearts having a mention of the events of Wicked Games, and some characters showing up in both books, but I would've loved to found out what happened after the ending of Wicked Games!

Because, boy, did I enjoy that ending, and the ending of Reckless Hearts. Wicked Games, it was like things were starting over again, that Carter was the new Lilah. But in Reckless Hearts, it was even bigger, and I just want to know what's going to happen next!

Pretty great books, and yeah, I enjoyed them a lot!
