Blackmail Boyfriend: Review

From Goodreads:
Sometimes, blackmail is the only weapon a girl has…

Haley Patterson has had a crush on golden boy Bryce Colton for ages. But when she hears a rumor that he hooked up with her she gives him a choice: be her boyfriend for a month to show other guys that she's dateable—despite her overprotective and very intimidating brothers—or deal with the angry, cage-fighting boyfriend of the girl he actually did hook up with.

Bryce didn't know the other Haley even had a boyfriend. He was just trying to get his ex off his back. And now, not only is he being blackmailed, he's being blackmailed by an honor student. His new "girlfriend" has two three-legged dogs, her father mows grass at the country club, and she's…well, difficult. And different.

Can something so fake turn into something real?

My Review:
This was such a fantastic book! I enjoyed reading it so much! There were just so many fantastic lines, that the whole book was my favourite line! They were just so smart and witty and just overall fantastic and amazing!

Her brothers are the reason why she blackmails him-they were very overprotective. And the situation that allows her to blackmail him-he hooked up with a girl who has an on and off relationship with a muscled guy. Yeah. A situation ripe for a book!

I really enjoyed a lot of this book, like the one liners, spoken or just thoughts. Loved how protective her family was of her, the brother's wood chipper, and her dad's back hoe and 5 acres of land. But there was one thing that I didn't like. And that was the lack of real conflict-there was a lot of emotional, relationship stuff, mostly with Haley and Bryce, but also Haley's mom. And I thought that the situation could've upped the ante, if the boy her mom had been with-the biological father of the twins-was Bryce's dad. That could've added so much conflict to the book, and it would've been pretty awesome to read!

The ending was really enjoyable, that while there wasn't a lot of conflict, what there was, was resolved, and they were happy together! Which was nice, and just really enjoyable to read-it was an ending that I love in books!

Just a really fantastic book! I enjoyed it a ton! Can't wait for more books by Chris Cannon!
