Week 32 Review: Madly

From Goodreads:
When the Princess of Nova accidentally poisons herself with a love potion meant for her crush, she falls crown-over-heels in love with her own reflection. Oops. A nationwide hunt is called to find the cure, with competitors travelling the world for the rarest ingredients, deep in magical forests and frozen tundras, facing death at every turn.

Enter Samantha Kemi - an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent. Sam's family were once the most respected alchemists in the kingdom, but they've fallen on hard times, and winning the hunt would save their reputation. But can Sam really compete with the dazzling powers of the ZoroAster megapharma company? Just how close is Sam willing to get to Zain Aster, her dashing former classmate and enemy, in the meantime?

And just to add to the pressure, this quest is ALL OVER social media. And the world news.

No big deal, then.

My Review:
This was such a great book! So funny, and so awesome, and I really enjoyed this world! It was just such a fantastic book! So glad that I got a chance to read it, and to read it early! And it's part of a series, yeah, which means more of this awesomeness!

There was a lot of unfairness in this book. From the rise of the synths, and the fall of the old school alchemists, to the exiled sister of the King, who wants the throne. Who was evil. Yeah. Oh, and the synth company, ZoroAster, and Zain, because oh, boy!

I really enjoyed all the places that Samantha went in search of the cure, they were really interesting! Though I do wish that there had been a map, so I could've seen where they were in proximity to each other! That would've been really great!

I really liked that we got the princess's POV, that she was in love with herself, but didn't know that, just that she was in love. And watching as she deteriorated as the questers were doing there thing, it was really great to watch the progress!

Such an excellent book was a really great ending, and I can't wait to have more-like the mystery of what really happened the last time, we've had her family's side, Zain's family's side, now we just need the truth!
