Week 3 Review: Dirty Thoughts

From Goodreads:
Some things are sexier the second time around.

Cal Payton has gruff and grumbly down to an art...all the better for keeping people away. And it usually works. Until Jenna MacMillan-his biggest mistake---walks into Payton and Sons mechanic shop all grown up, looking like sunshine, and inspiring more than a few dirty thoughts.

Jenna was sure she was long over the boy she'd once loved with reckless abandon, but one look at the steel-eyed Cal Payton has her falling apart all over again. Ten years may have passed, but the pull is stronger than ever... and this Cal is all man.

Cal may have no intention of letting Jenna in, but she's always been his light, and it's getting harder to stay all alone in the dark. When a surprise from the past changes everything, Cal and Jenna must decide if their connection should be left alone or if it's exactly what they need for the future of their dreams.

My Review:
Oh, this book! So good, so enjoyable, and so quick to read, the pages just flew! Just proving that Megan Erickson is such a fantastic author! I just love her books, and I know that I'm just going to continue to devour this series!

I really enjoyed reading about Cal and Jenna. We met Cal in Max's book in the first series, but didn't have much a chance to get to know him. This was that chance, and then some, learning about his high school love, Jenna, and what happened there, Heart-hurting, but so great to read!

I loved the story of their relationship, of the ups and downs, it was so enjoyable and fun to read! Her brother was awful, but in the end, that just made their relationship stronger, just like that adage. He was thoroughly disgusting and horrible, especially when he hurt himself, and then said that Cal did it!

Yeah for a happy ending! They had earned it, and it was just enjoyable to read them live it out! And yeah that this is just the beginning of the series, we'll see more of them because it is the Peyton and Sons mechanic shop that this series is set in, and the characters that are going to populate it!

Loved this book so much, and now I have to read more of this series immediately!
