My Review:
Gah, it was absolutely wonderful to read this book! It's different from the Jane Yellowrock series, Nell is a different narrator with completely different experiences than Jane. I really enjoyed her adventures in this book, and I can't wait to read more!
We got a brief glance at Nell in the short story that she was in, and this book, it continued upon the same lines, because while the one vampire and the children were freed, well, it was a continuing behaviour that had to be stopped, and yeah,, that was a big focus in this book!
I really enjoyed both the mystery, and how Nell tackled it. She didn't have any formal training like the team or Jane, but she had what she educated herself with, so she was such a wonderful mix of knowledge and missing gaps, and some it was really strange! Like, I didn't know that rap in rap sheet stood for something!
Loved how everything worked out, it was a pretty darned complicated thing, with lots of players with different motivations, and clues that didn't always appear as big as they turned out to be! It was just wonderful to read, and I can't wait for more!
This book ended on a positive note, and I can't want to explore more of Nell's world more!
