Week 49 Review: A Walk in the Sun

From Goodreads:
Katie Cotugno meets The Bridges of Madison County in a magnetic tale about summer love that stays with you long after the seasons change.

Rose Darrow never wanted to spend her life working on her family's farm. But when her family is rocked by an unexpected tragedy she has no choice but to put her plans for the future—and dreams of escaping her small town—on hold.

Bodhi Lowell left home as a kid and hasn't looked back. Years of working farm jobs has given him the one thing he wants most: freedom to travel without answering to anyone. He's already looking past his job at Darrow Farm and plans on leaving in September—until he meets Rose.

Neither Rose nor Bodhi can deny the sparks flying between them, but with the end of summer looming, they must decide if it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. . .

My Review:
This book was just so sweet to read! It was a nice summer read, and yeah, really awesome to read right now when it's really cold outside! Like snow cold outside. Yeah. Plus, this book was just really a fantastic read!

Both of these kids have had a tough time. Rose recently lost her mom, and her dad is in his own little grieving bubble, and so she was basically left running the farm with a little help. Bodhi had his mom just leave, and then have a dad who wasn't much of a parent, as in, his was something of a criminal. And then to have them together, was really fantastic!

This was the story of them falling in love, while also dealing with running the farm, and the other people in their lives. They were in a small town, and there were some people that helped bring them together, and yeah, it was just so sweet to read!

Loved the ending! Yeah, there was a bit of trouble with the whole, he was going to travel, and he wanted her to come but she felt like she couldn't leave the farm. Yeah, but it all worked out and yeah, it was a fantastic ending!

Such a sweet book and a fantastic read!
