My Review:
Loved reading this book! I haven't read All the Missing Girls yet, but now, I'm really itching to, because the mystery in this book was absolutely amazing! Side note, is that the ARC that I received, said a publication date of May, which is why I read it after it'd already been published. Opps!
I really enjoyed the way that Leah's story was told. We knew something had happened in Leah's past, and slowly, ever so madendly slowly, we were given details about what had happened. And that gave us 3 mysteries in this book-Leah's past, Emmy's disappearance, and the violent crimes that have happened in town. And two of the three are connected!
A bit of the writing was hard to read. It just felt less like a fiction novel, and more of a literary one, and I really despise literary books, because they're all fancy and full of themselves. But it was only a little bit in this book, it still was amazing to read!
I do wish that we could've gotten to know Kyle a bit better. She pulled him into this case, and then their relationship happened and things were complicated. And yeah, I just feel like we didn't get to know him very well, and wishing that we had!
Loved the ending, and how things came together, because yeah, this was an absolutely amazing book!
