My Review:
I just loved reading both of these. Deathly Hallows, I remember reading it shortly after it came out while I was home sick, and I just devoured it. And I did so again, plus, reading the Cursed Child! Great to have more of this world, just not the same quality, at least, for me!
My one big wish for Deathly Hallows, was that Harry should have sent his stuff like his broomstick and Hedwig, with the Dursleys, then the wizards with them could've sent it on to the Burrow once they were away from Harry. Because then they could've been saved, the firebolt was from Sirius, and Hedwig, oh, Hedwig!
It's funny, that I read these two books the day after Albus goes to school in that epilogue/being of the play. I found that out after I read these books, but before I wrote this review. So cool, that we're in real time now with this world!
Honestly? Cursed Child was OK, and it wasn't just that it was a screenplay that made it that way. That second or third scene, where it's a bunch of little scenes where Albus is in Slytherin, and has his first 3 years of school, it's like, was that a dream or a nightmare, is this really happening? It didn't feel real. And it was really short, so we didn't get as much detail, let alone how much detail is in books. I wish we could've gotten it in book form exclusively by J.K. Rowling, that would've been so much better!
Yeah, so fantastic to read these books, and I've glad that I finally read all 8 of these together!
