Week 28 Review: In Rides Trouble

From Goodreads:
Rebel with a Cause

Becky "Rebel" Reichert never actually goes looking for trouble. It just has a tendency to find her. Like the day Frank Knight showed up at her door, wanting to use her motorcycle shop as a cover for his elite special ops team. But Becky prides herself on being able to hang with the big boys-she can weld, drive, and shoot just as well as any of them.

Man with a Mission

Munitions, missiles, and mayhem are Frank's way of life. The last thing the ex-SEAL wants is for one brash blonde to come within fifty feet of anything that goes boom. Yet it's just his rotten luck when she ends up in a hostage situation at sea. Come hell or high water, he will get her back-whether she says she needs him or not.

My Review:
Oh, man, this book was so great! I enjoyed it much more than the first book, mostly because these characters have different accents, I believe! This book was fast-paced and well written, and yeah, I just read it so quickly!

I kinda thought that the pirate kidnapping would be a short part of this book. But it takes up almost half of the book, because it's pretty important, much more than I thought it was. We get introduced to the bad guy, and yeah, I would almost feel sorry for him because of the actions of his dad, but then his own actions damn him. Yeah.

Becky and Frank were a couple that just had to be, their interactions in the previous book, yeah, you could tell. Even her brother thought they would end up together. And though there were a few complications, like almost all the guys thinking his sister was his lady on the side, they worked it out, and that was so great!

This book also set up two future couples, or I guess, couples that were together before the series started, and now will be getting back together with their own books! So yeah, I'm really excited for that! All these guys should (and seem to be!) get happy endings!

Such a great book, and I can't wait to read more of this series!
