Week 40 Review: The Loving Daylights

From Goodreads:
New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands delivers a "madcap escapade" (Publishers Weekly) in this contemporary romance about a quirky inventor and unexpected love.

Shy Jane Spyrus loves gadgets. She can build anything B.L.I.S.S. needs in the international organization's fight against crime—although its agents aren't exactly lining up at her door. Some of them think her inventions are a little too . . . well, innovative. Like her shrink-wrap prophylactic constraints or her spray-on truth serum.

Of course, you can't use wacky inventions to fix all your problems; Jane knows that better than anyone. Her neighbor has been kidnapped, driving that point home. She will have to team up with another human being—and Abel Andretti arrives just in time. He will help Jane find her neighbor, stop a villain, and, most of all, he will show Jane how to love the daylights out of something without batteries.

My Review:
Oh, another amazing, hilarious and awesome book by Lynsay Sands! I loved the spy agency and the gadgets that Jane created, they were really innovative and creative and kinda pretty hilarious! I enjoyed it so much!

There was just so much hilarity in this book, like when they basically kidnap Abel, because his sister was taken, and they're the ones with the spy knowledge. When the set up house, I really enjoyed all the situations they got into because of the roles the chose to play!

That ending, oh! Jane was vindicated, she was right about the family being the bad guys, and that they had a hidden base. And yeah, there was a lot of action and good use of her gadgets! It wasn't a perfect ending, but it was a happy and satisfying one, which I really enjoyed!

Apparently this is part of a series, with different authors writing about other agents working at B.L.I.S.S. but since I haven't heard of them, I'm not really interested in reading them. I would love another book by Lynsay Sands set in this world!

This book was really fantastic and enjoyable and I loved it immensely!
