Week 44 Review: One Giant Leap

From Goodreads:
When Cassandra Gupta was chosen to be the youngest member of a top-secret mission to the far reaches of the universe she knew to expect the unexpected. But nothing could have prepared her for the catastrophic events that would occur once she left Earth.

Cassie and the rest of the crew have found themselves in the middle of a conflict between two alien civilizations hell-bent on destroying each other . . . and anyone else who gets in their way. What was supposed to be a reconnaissance mission soon becomes a fight for their lives. But Cassie knows that it isn't enough to simply survive. The war is coming to Earth, and only she has the information that can possibly stop the devastation it will bring. With humanity's fate in the balance, Cassie must decide who she can trust and who she is willing to sacrifice in order to complete her mission.

My Review:
Oh, I really enjoyed reading this book! After that shocking ending of the first book, I needed to know what was going to happen next! And it didn't disappoint! Loved reading it so much! There were a ton of twists in this book, and that ending was remarkable!

I didn't know where things would go after the big reveal that Luka as an alien whose species had sent the information that'd let humanity build the ship that'd brought them to where they were. I couldn't wait to find out more about why they'd sent that information to humanity!

The interfacing with Sunny was very interesting, and pretty important, given that humanity had built another one, Pinnacle, which definitely complicated matters, because Pinnacle was more of a sword and offensive then a shield and defensive like Sunny.

The war of the Megobarri LiteBrite system, it wasn't what it seemed. Of course not, because that would've been too easy. I really enjoyed finding out the truth, though it was hard for Luka. It made for a really satisfying ending!

This book was so fantastic and enjoyable, and I loved reading it!
