Week 4 Review: Hot and Badgered

From Goodreads:
It's not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn's hotel balcony. Definitely they don't usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she's gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she's a honey badger shifter, it's too late.

Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won't even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she's not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He's trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He's cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up . . .

My Review:
This book was so freaking hilarious! I wasn't even planning on reading this book, I had two others that I was reading and it was Friday night, but I saw this book and decided to read it before I forgot about it. And I'm so glad I did, because this book was a laughfest from beginning to end!

The MacKilligan sisters got into some situations that were so ridiculous. It wasn't their fault, it was their dad's, but they still had to deal with it. There was one scene where a guy thought to himself, what could a gun do to a helicopter? And then Max shot a rocket launcher. Yeah. That was just the sort of thing that would happen in this book! And while these sisters would go at each other, they were a team.

This book is a romance, but there's only flirting for two thirds of this book. Then the physical stuff in the last third is pretty intense, but after what they've been through, they deserved it! I really enjoyed Charlie and Berg together, they both knew about close and crazy sibling bonds!

I really enjoyed getting to know these characters! There were a few complains I have, like some of the time, it would take me a second to figure out who was narrating. And there were a few characters who narrated and I didn't have a clue and then things would happen and answers would be had, but it was still a little bit confusing. While writing this review, I found out that this is a spin off series, so that explains a bit of that, and I'm going to have to read that series!

Loved reading this book so much, and I'm so excited for the sequel!
