I loved reading this series! I'm so glad that we're going to get a full length book, because I need to spend more time in Murderbot's head! I loved learning about this world, and delving deeper into both the past and the crimes of GrayCris! Plus, this book was pretty hilarious, like Murderbot despairing of humans always putting themselves in danger, or ART. ART was hilarious!
The idea of 'droids are pretty interesting, a mix of human and machine that are property. It's a contested idea, like by Dr. Mensah and the group that she's with. Murderbot doesn't care so much, just wants to be left alone to watch tv. But it cares for Dr. Mensah, and has a few adventures along the way.
Murderbot broke free from the commands that it had to follow. And instead of going about on a murderous rampage, decided to watch tv shows. Murderbot was kinda shy, because of the differences between 'droids and humans-even enhanced humans, are pretty big, and it was kinda adorable to read!
The main thread of these books was the GrayCris Company and what they were doing. There was a detour in Artificial Condition with Murderbot investigating the past, the incident that spawned the name Murderbot. But even then, there was little bits and pieces that helped make a better picture of what was going on with GrayCris, which was so fantastic!
Loved these books so much, they were so enjoyable, and I can't wait for more!
