I have two. One is when covers are changed on trilogies. Because I like them to match, darn it, and they don't make both hardcover and paperback with both sets of new covers. I say trilogies, because longer series, I get cover changes, the series is longer, and it's unrealistic to have the same cover style. But for 3 books? Either don't change, or have both sets of styles for both formats of books, darn it!
The second, is the oversized mass market paperbacks and hardcovers. Why? They don't fit the shelves, and then I have authors in different places, and I just don't like it. Why??? Oh, and Harlequin (and maybe others, but I've only seen it with Harlequin right now) is the Paperback Max. Gah!
