My Review:
This book was just so fun to read! I love Meg Cabot's books, and I really enjoyed the first book, and this one sounded really cute and fun. And it was, I really enjoyed this story of a sheriff and a librarian, solving mysteries together and falling in love!
I loved how at first, they really got on each others nerves, even if they were attracted to each other. Her, because of how arrogant he was, and that he didn't seem to have much sympathy for whomever left the baby there. Him, because she kept getting put in the middle of the various parts of the investigation. But there was an attraction between them, and it was so fun to watch them interact!
The mystery was pretty interesting, and it was a bit funny, to see how it aggravated him, to have an old nemesis come back, who is taunting him, basically. So I really enjoyed how it wrapped up, it was pretty fitting!
My one thing is, I wish we could've learned more about Molly's past engagement. I mean, I wouldn't want too much more because that would've been too similar to what happened in the first book, but I would've liked to have had a bit more detail there!
Loved reading this book, it was just so much fun to read!
