Book Blogger Hop #171, January 15th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: How many posts do you schedule for your blog on a weekly basis? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

I have 13 meme posts that I have done up to a year in advance (I did 2021 posts in December, and got the first two weeks of 2022 done then). And over the course of the week, I schedule in my reviews for that week, which is at least 4 each week. So a minimum of 17, though I usually read more than that, sometimes I read series which get just one review for who knows how many books. What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I'm a totally on the fly blogger and rarely pre-schedule posts, though I do usually write meme posts the day before and then publish on the day. I tend to do between 5 and 7 posts a week, whatever time allows me to manage.

  2. You are super-organized! I prep posts ahead of time, but am nowhere near close to being that ahead. For me it depends on the type of post. I do try to at least create skeleton posts well in advance to make it easier to add more time specific content.

I hope you have a great weekend!

    1. I like how I do it, because then I've already put the time in, and it's just easy on the day that it posts, it works for me :) And review posts, well, I have the outline, plus the information about the book, and then I just have to add my review, the date I read it and the rating. Thanks, and I hope you do too! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
