My Review:
This was such a great read! And it totally went in an epic direction, I wasn't expecting it, but there were some really interesting reveals, and where it went was just incredible. And it was just amazing to read! But oh, how the wheels turn!
Halycon was really interesting, he's the only one who survived Diavala possessing them. And when Celia and Griffin get there, well, they start to learn why. And that deepening of the world was just so great to read, I loved learning more!
I think my favourite parts in this book were the interludes, of getting to see from Griffin's perspective. don't remember if they were in Ink in the Blood or not, or maybe if I'm remembering correctly, we got to see the performances that they put on. But I really enjoyed getting to be in his head, dealing with Diavala being in his head!
This was a fantastic end to this duology. I loved how everything came together, and while it was really hard, it was so satisfying. They changed the world, and they learned more about their history, and it all worked out really well.
I loved reading this book, and it was a fantastic sequel (and I think end to the duology) and I had such a blast reading it!
