Book Blogger Hop #186, April 30th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: What are some common tropes you've seen in a genre you like to read? Are there any books you've read that reverse or change those tropes? (submitted by Julie @ JadeSky)

I honestly can't remember, I hardly ever pay attention to tropes. My mind just doesn't work that way! And I'm sure I've read books that change or reverse tropes (Winter Glass by Lexa Hillyer comes to mind, but I'm not sure if that's a trope or not.) Yeah, I don't have much of an answer this week! What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. Romance is FULL of tropes, I'm partial to enemies-to-lovers, because I love the conflict, and second chance. In fantasy I do like "the chosen one" trope - all that divine destiny stuff!

  2. When thinking about tropes, we will see them used in the books.

    1. Yeah, I know! Just hard for me to think of them, besides the romance ones and some fantasy ones. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
