From Goodreads:
From bestselling author Danielle L. Jensen comes a thrilling new novel in the Dark Shores world, a series that Sarah J. Maas called "everything I look for in a fantasy novel."

THEIR BATTLES ENDED IN VICTORY

Lydia returns to Mudaire to enter training at the healing temple. But instead of fighting to save lives, she’s convinced she is doing more harm than good. She delves into the history of the gods only to discover a truth that will change her life forever.

His birthright as commander of the Royal Army is finally in his grasp, but Killian feels anything but victorious. Burdened by his past, he embraces the darker side of his mark―and in doing so, risks starting a war.

Torn between her growing allegiance to the Thirty-Seventh legion and her need to liberate her people, Teriana finds herself mired in a web of secrets. She embarks upon a path that will either save everyone she loves―or put them all in their graves.

Meant to Be Immortal by Lynsay Sands
Expected Publication: April 27th, 2021
From Goodreads:
In the newest Argeneau novel from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands, an immortal barely escapes a raging fire only to kindle a sizzling passion with his potential life mate.

Mac Argeneau knows all too well: immortals can be killed. Not with holy water or silver crosses, but by decapitation or being set on fire. So when Mac’s house bursts into flames—with him inside—he’s sure it was no accident. But who would want to kill a scientist specializing in hematology? There is a silver lining: a blonde investigator appears on the scene and sparks feelings in him that have been dormant for centuries.

CJ Cummings is in town on a special investigation, but she’s been waylaid by the local police to deal with this arson case. The biggest mystery is how this sexy scientist with silvery blue eyes has emerged from a blazing inferno without a burn mark on him. He’s clearly hiding something. Sure, she’d love to see him without his lab coat, but she’s got a job to do—despite his insistence that he needs a bodyguard and...he wants her.

But when a second attempt on their lives puts CJ in harm’s way, it’s Mac who will do anything to safeguard the woman who’s destined to be his life mate.

Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells
Expected Publication: April 27th, 2021
From Goodreads:
The New York Times bestselling security droid with a heart (though it wouldn't admit it!) is back in Fugitive Telemetry!

Having captured the hearts of readers across the globe (Annalee Newitz says it's "one of the most humane portraits of a nonhuman I've ever read") Murderbot has also established Martha Wells as one of the great SF writers of today.

No, I didn't kill the dead human. If I had, I wouldn't dump the body in the station mall.

When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people—who knew?)

Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans!

Again!

A new standalone adventure in the New York Times-bestselling, Hugo and Nebula Award winning series!

Bottle Demon by Stephen Blackmoore
Expected Publication: April 27th, 2021
From Goodreads:
The sixth book of this dark urban fantasy series follows necromancer Eric Carter through a world of vengeful gods and goddesses, mysterious murders, and restless ghosts.

The Necromancer is dead. Long live the Necromancer.

After being attacked by a demon in the one place he thought he was safe, Eric Carter has been killed, his soul sent to take its place as a stand-in for the Aztec god of death Mictlantecuhtli. But somebody on Earth isn't done with him, yet. Somebody with the power to bring him back from the dead. He doesn't know who, and worse he doesn't know why.

Between an angry death goddess, family secrets steeped in blood, a Djinn who's biding his time, and a killer mage who can create copy after copy of himself, Eric's new life looks to be just as violent as his last one. But if he doesn't get to the bottom of why he's back, it's going to be a hell of a lot shorter.

On Mission by Aileen Erin
Expected Publication: April 27th, 2021
From Goodreads:
“Declan’s been captured.” Ahiga’s strained voice carried through the recording and Amihanna knew without seeing him that he must be hurt. “SpaceTech is shooting us dead in the street and we can’t run or hide fast enough. I’m not sure how long we can stay in Haden’s hideout. We need your help. I know it’s a lot to ask, but please. I’m begging. We’re all going to die without you.” Ahiga’s message was everything Amihanna feared would come true.

“Wait!” Amihanna screams. Her mind is racing, and she needs to make a decision. Keep going. Meet Lorne on the neutral planet to broker an alliance as planned. Or change course. Jump across the universe as quickly as she can, and pray it’s fast enough to save her Earther family. Amihanna knows what it’s like to be fighting for her life, hoping that someone would come. Everyone abandoned her except for the Crew, Declan, and Ahiga.

Sometimes debts can’t be repaid, but Amihanna is a di Aetes. She won’t give up. Not ever.

“I’m sorry.” Lorne felt Amihanna’s fear pressing against his heart from lightyears away as he listened to her message. “I have to go back. I’m leaving Roan behind in case you want to find me. I’ll come home when I can. Try not to freak out too much. I can do this. I’ll be fine.”

No, no, NO! Lorne’s skin glowed so bright it blinded the control room. He moved before he could think, taking the pilot’s seat, and steering them in the opposite direction. He’d been forced to stay away before, but Lorne was King now. Nothing would keep him from saving Amihanna this time.

The end of April has some really fantastic books that I'm really excited for, and I think I got ARCs of all of these books, and I've read some of them, and they were all freaking great, and I want these books sto be out in the world! What about you guys? Happy reading!
