Week 17 Reviews: Firestorm, Thin Air, Ladies' Night

From Goodreads:
Rogue Weather Warden Joanne Baldwin is racing to New York to warn her former colleagues of the impending apocalypse. An ancient agreement between the Djinn and the Wardens has been broken, and the furious Djinn, slaves to the Wardens for millennia, have broken free of mortal control.

With more than half the Wardens unaccounted for in the wake of the Djinn uprising, Joanne realizes that the natural disasters they've combated for so long were merely symptoms of restless Mother Nature fidgeting in her sleep. Now she's waking up—and she is angry....

After preventing Mother Earth from destroying the planet, Joanne Baldwin lost her memories thanks to Ashan the djinn-and they will remain lost forever unless Joanne can recover her identity-and destroy the demon who is impersonating her, fabulous shoes and all...

My Review:
Well, I absolutely loved reading these books! I've been loving this series so much, it's a wild ride with so much going on, and I just can't put them down! And things are ramping up, the threats are getting worse, and I'm loving it!

While everything is going on, I am just loving Joanne and David's relationship. They've been through the wringer, with what happened to their child, who they barely had any time with before everything happened to her. They're such a great couple!

Firestorm was a really great read, dealing with the aftereffects of the last book, with the Djinn being freed. Which means that they're coming after the Wardens for having enslaved them for so long. And adding on top of that that Mother Earth is waking up? That's a heck of a story!

And of course Thin Air deals with the events of the last, with Joanne being split from her memories. It sucked that her friends suspected her like that. And oh, watching that one plot play out was so annoying, knowing he wasn't to be trusted, but she didn't remember that. Loved how that all played out, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

These were really great reads, and I can't wait to continue the series!
