I really enjoyed reading this book again! Again, it's been 8 years since I first read it, and in that time I've read thousands of books since, so it was really was like reading it for the first time, just with a bit of insight into what was happening!
MacReive has been through hell, twice. First was when he was a kid, with Lady Ruelle, and what she did to him, and what happened when his family found out. The other was much more recent, when he was held prisoner by the Order, and was tortured. So finding his mate, that was a miracle!

I really enjoyed their relationship, how it was so great in the beginning-and how bad it got when it was revealed that she was a succubus. I get why he treated her that way, but it still wasn't right, and I'm glad that she stuck up for herself! And how things worked out in the end!
Two bits of information that I forgot was her dad, who he was and the appearances he had in this book, and her mom's side of the family. And both were fairly important, though the later was more so, because of the new and vital information about succubus's!

Loved reading this story, and the bits that were woven in of Munro's story, the one that just came out, and the reason I've been rereading this series! I'm almost there!
