Book Blogger Hop #256, September 2nd

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is:  Is it difficult to find new books in local bookstores? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I don't have a local bookstore. I haven't been in a physical book store that sells new books (been to thrift stores), in years. I usually order online, and I know what I'm interested in and waiting for. What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I definitely order online more than anything. Here's my BBH: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2022/09/02/bookbloggerhop/

  2. There's no bookstore in my town, plenty of thrift stores where I can pick up second-hand books but for anything new, it's online. I miss browsing a bookstore and blowing the budget on all the pretty!

    1. There's a store or two that has second hand books, and a few drugstores that have new books, but with such a small selection! And I miss it, too! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  3. We don't get to an actual bookstore often. When we do, it's usually the Books-A-Million about an hour away. They make new releases pretty easy to find, and they do a decent job of having a variety of new releases, not just the "big names." They don't always have everything I'm looking for, though, so I still order online a good bit.

We do have an independent bookstore about 30 minutes the other side of town. We need to go there more often!

    1. Oh, that sounds like a drive! The closest city to me is about 20 minutes, and there's a Chapters right at the edge, and I have fond memories there! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
