Week 24 Review: Love, Theoretically

My Review:
Oh, I had such a great time reading this book! I loved the pair of them, and their snipping at one another, while it turns out that they are in similar but antagonistic fields of physics, and he's part of the group that's conducting the interviews-he's also the brother of one of her fake dating clients. Such an entertaining set up! 

That one moment, when Elise was meeting Olive and Adam, and she was thinking to herself, that Olive wouldn't know or understand about fake dating. Yeah, I laughed out loud, because her book is all about fake dating, but dating the love interest, not the brother of the love interest. 

It's pretty staple now, that the male love interest is interested in the girl, but for some reason or another, hides it, and acts not the best around her. In this case, because he doesn't know that her and his brother are fake dating, well, he wouldn't go after his brother's date. But oh, their interactions were so much fun to read! 

I'm pretty sure that this is one of the more serious books that Ali Hazelwood has written to date. There was a note, talking about how this went a bit further into academic politics, and that Elsie hardly has enough to survive on, even adding in the fake dating. And I'm really glad, because it doesn't sound like a good situation to be in and deal with!

This was another really great read and I can't wait to read more by Ali Hazelwood!
