Week 41 Review: One of Us is Next

From Goodreads:
The highly anticipated sequel to the New York Times bestselling thriller everyone is talking about, One of Us Is Lying! There's a new mystery to solve at Bayview High, and there's a whole new set of rules.

Come on, Bayview, you know you've missed this.

A ton of copycat gossip apps have popped up since Simon died, but in the year since the Bayview four were cleared of his shocking death, no one's been able to fill the gossip void quite like he could. The problem is no one has the facts.

Until now.

This time it's not an app, though—it's a game.

Truth or Dare.

Phoebe's the first target. If you choose not to play, it's a truth. And hers is dark.

Then comes Maeve and she should know better—always choose the dare.

But by the time Knox is about to be tagged, things have gotten dangerous. The dares have become deadly, and if Maeve learned anything from Bronwyn last year, it's that they can't count on the police for help. Or protection.

Simon's gone, but someone's determined to keep his legacy at Bayview High alive. And this time, there's a whole new set of rules.

My first review of One of Us is Next
My Review:
Yeah, this was a really fantastic read! I just love this series, and I loved this one the first time that I read it, so it was great to be back with these characters, watching as they dealt with another mystery, that I just couldn't get enough of!

For some reason, I remember less of this book then I did of One of Us is Lying, maybe because the twist reveal of that one was bigger, but all I remembered was that it was a mix of new characters, siblings of the old characters, and returning characters, which was a good mix to deal with this latest case.

That this was a game of Truth or Dare, but weaponized, this is more of a choice to participate, though once things got going, that choice wasn't really there. I had such a great time watching as they were navigating the dares, and finding out what was going on!

This was another thrill ride, it was fast paced, and I couldn't get enough, and I'm really glad that we're getting a 3rd book, that feels good, to close out this series, because this town has a lot going on in it, secrets that I can't wait to find out!

Loved reading this book again and I can't wait to finish out this series!
